Otter Potter is a one-person workshop making browser extensions for Gmail, ChatGPT, your tabs, and the invoicing apps freelancers run on. Each one fixes a single annoyance, keeps your data in your own browser, and costs nothing or a one-time price.

- Timecomb A timer next to your HoneyBook, Dubsado or Square projects, and unbilled hours onto invoices in one click.
- Taproot Tabs Your tabs as a tree in the side panel, each one nested under the page you opened it from.
- Prompt Arrows Puts the ‹ 1/2 › arrows back on edited and regenerated ChatGPT messages.
- Quick Links for Gmail Any Gmail search, label or view, saved as a one-click link in the sidebar.
- Side Canvas A document beside ChatGPT, like Canvas was. Edit just the part you select and review every change.
- Cite Check Checks that the sources an AI answer cites are real, and that their details match.
- Carry On Continues a long or full ChatGPT chat in a new one, with the goal, code and recent messages carried over.
- Assistant Keeper Saves your Custom GPTs and Gems, and starts any of them in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini in one click.
- Done Ping A notification when ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity finishes a long answer.
- Stand-In Swaps private data for stand-ins when you paste into an AI chat, and puts it back when you copy.

How the tools are made
- One job each
- Each tool fixes one specific annoyance in an app you already use. Small tools are easier to keep working when the app around them changes.
- Your data stays in your browser
- Your links, tabs, documents and hours are stored in your own browser. There's no account to make, and nothing is collected, tracked or sold.
- Paid once, if at all
- Every tool has a free version. Pro is a single payment through Stripe, with no subscription to remember to cancel.
- Fixed first
- When a website change breaks a tool, fixing it comes before building anything new.
