Prompt Shortcuts for AI Chats

Stop retyping the same prompts. Save them once with a short name, then type ;name and press Tab in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity, and the full prompt appears in the message box.

Questions

Why a semicolon?: Perplexity now uses / for its own search modes, and ChatGPT and Claude use it too. A semicolon followed by a name almost never appears in normal writing.
Does Tab still work normally?: Yes. Tab is only taken when the word before the cursor is ;name for a prompt you saved.
Where are my prompts kept?: In your browser only. Export them to a file from the toolbar button to keep a copy or move them to another computer. See the privacy policy.
Is this made by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Perplexity?: No. Prompt Shortcuts is an independent extension by Otter Potter and is not affiliated with any of them.
