Privacy Policy

Assistant Keeper ("the extension") saves the instructions of AI assistants you build or write, and puts them into a new chat on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini when you ask. We do not run servers, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we never sell data. We never receive your assistants or conversations.

What the extension reads

The extension runs only on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com. When you click "Save to Assistant Keeper" on a Custom GPT's or Gem's edit page, it reads the text fields on that page (name, description, instructions, conversation starters) so you can review and save them. It does not read your conversations.

What the extension sends

When you start an assistant, it opens a new chat on the site you chose and puts the assistant's instructions into the message box. It never sends the message; you do. Messages you send are handled by that service under your account and its own policies. The extension sends nothing anywhere else.

What the extension stores

Your saved assistants, whether you have Pro, and, for up to two minutes while a new chat opens, the message being started. All of it is kept in your browser's extension storage on this computer. It is not synced and never leaves your computer unless you export it. Removing the extension deletes it.

Payments

Pro is sold through ExtensionPay, with payments processed by Stripe on their own pages. They collect your email and payment details to process the purchase; the extension never sees your card details.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
