Done Ping ("the extension") tells you when ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity finishes writing an answer. We do not run servers, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we never sell data. We never receive your conversations.

What the extension reads

On chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com and perplexity.ai, it checks whether the site's Stop button is showing, which is how it knows an answer is being written. When one finishes, it reads that tab's title and address to put in the notification. It does not read your conversations.

What the extension sends

Nothing, unless you turn on phone alerts. Then, when an answer finishes, it sends the site's name and how long the answer took (never the chat's title) to the ntfy.sh topic you entered, so the ntfy app can show it on your phone. ntfy handles that message under its own policy.

What the extension stores

Your settings, whether you have Pro, and a list of the last 8 finished answers (site, title, address, how long it took). All of it is kept in your browser's extension storage on this computer. It is not synced and never sent to us. Removing the extension deletes it.

Payments

Pro is sold through ExtensionPay, with payments processed by Stripe on their own pages. They collect your email and payment details to process the purchase; the extension never sees your card details.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
