Memory Keeper for ChatGPT. Last updated October 9, 2026.

Memory Keeper ("the extension") is a browser extension made by Otter Potter. We do not run servers, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we never sell data.

What the extension reads

When you open the toolbar button, your saved memories, read from chatgpt.com with your own signed-in session (the same list ChatGPT shows under Settings → Personalization). The sign-in token is used for that one request and never stored.

What the extension sends

Nothing to us. The request for your memory list goes only to chatgpt.com, the same as when you open your memories in ChatGPT.

What the extension stores

A snapshot of your memories from the last time you opened it, and the memories that have disappeared since (up to 500), in your browser's extension storage on this computer, so it can show what changed. Removing the extension deletes them.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
